Just having a giant hammer was good enough for me, but today’s Smash Bros. Dojo update features King Dedede’s special moves, and his big Down-B move takes out half of his mallet to reveal a jet engine inside. An engine which you can charge up and take out other characters with. I envision it to be as effective as the Hammer item in the original Smash Bros. and Melee (though it likely won’t be as powerful), which takes Dedede’s cool points up to like a billion. Unfortunately the hammer also does damage to him, and the longer you charge it up the more it hurts him, so there’s the catch I guess.

Other special moves include a big jump and then smash on the ground with his hammer for his Up-B move (regular hammer, unfortunately, not rocket-hammer…), and his Left/Right-B move involes him hurling a waddle-dee (which comes from where, exactly?) at his opponents.
