Sorry I couldn’t have posted this sooner, I seem to have been plagued with internet troubles recently, and today the network in the house just quit. But there’s some good news! I managed to find a copy of Guitar Hero III! Ok, it really wasn’t hard, because for once all the stores had them, and they were all demo-ing them as well.

Kevin and I played for about an hour, and so far it’s pretty awesome. The guitar feels great and much less toy-like than previous models, and although just starting the game I’ve barely scratched the surface as to playable songs, the selection so far is superb!

This is what the box looks like on the inside. I’m glad the neck and body seperate, because that would have been a HUGE box…

The only big suprise was that it came was some sticker sheets! I hate gunking up my stuff, so I probably won’t use them, but I appreciate the thought greatly. Maybe I’ll stick a few of them on my actual guitar case… Also it came with about six billion bags of silica gel. You know, the little packages of beads that say “THROW AWAY! DO NOT EAT!”? I played hacky sack with one of the larger ones for about ten seconds, but then I realised that I was in the middle of opening Guitar Freakin’ Hero III and I quickly threw it out…

Time to ROCK!
