“Wii’re ready to believe you!”

ghostbusters_071116_ms.jpgAre you troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night? Do you experience feelings of dread in your basement or attic? Have you or family seen a spook, spectre or ghost?

If your answer is “yes”, then I’ve got some more great news for you about the upcoming Ghostbusters game. According to Jeff Mills of Red Fly Studio (the studio developing Ghostbusters: The Video Game), even though the 360 and PS3 versions of the game will essentially be twins with mind-blowing graphics, and us Wii owners are left to share a version with the PS2, we have nothing to fear. Apparently, the Wii/PS2 version is being developed for the Wii, and being poorly ported over to the PS2, rather than the other way around that we’re all so very used to. Also, this is as much confirmation as I need of 4-player multiplayer. No images yet of the Wii version, but if it’s as good as he’s making it sound, I’m not concerned.

The Nintendo Wii is our primary version of the Ghostbusters game. We are pushing that hardware to its maximum potential. Where necessary, the PS2 might have some aspects reduced (i.e. only 2-player multiplayer instead of the Wii’s 4-player).

Just remember. If somebody asks you if you’re a god, you say YES!

I’ve just got so many quotes that need to be used… Here’s hoping for more Ghostbusters news…

THIS is what I like to hear!!!!!!!!

Already this game sounds great with 4-player splitscreen co-op or competitive on the Wii….

    Oh… and um…

“Ray: Gozer the Gozerian… good evening. As a duly designated representative of the City, County and State of New York, I order you to cease any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin or to the nearest convenient parallel dimension.

Peter: That oughta do it. Thanks very much Ray.”

    Oh…and don’t forget that when it counts….

    Aim for the flat-top!

I totally watched Ghostbusters again tonight. This post definitely got me in the mood.

“Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Voldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the Macketrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zools knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!”

“Ray: Symmetrical book stacking. Just like the Philadelphia Mass-Turbulence of 1957
Venkman: You’re right. No… human being… would stack books like this…”
