GameTrailersTV - Reggie promises BIG things at E3… big surprise.
Now I’m not the BIGGEST fan of GameTrailersTV (formerly known as Game Head), but host Geoff Keighley always manages to get to talk to Reggie, and it almost always makes you leave with a smile. This latest episode is no different.
Against the backdrop of GDC, Geoff talked to Reggie a little about what’s coming this year for the Wii. Hell, go to any release list for the rest of the year and for the most part, it’s fairly slim-pickings. Reggie, in traditional fashion, only responded by teasing us like holding a donut in front of a jogging, tired overweight individual. Promising to reveal some great new content at E3, Reggie says that Nintendo’s complete lineup for the remainder of the year will be unveiled. Not that that’s a big surprise, but Reggie is like Peter Molyneux. Both could just be talking about crap, but you can’t help but get giddy with anticipation.
While not going into too many specifics, Reggie confirmed that WiiMusic is still in development. Also, ‘gamers should be excited, and the expanded audience will be excited’. Does that mean games being marketed to both audiences? Are we going to get another “bridge game” like Mario Galaxy or Mario Kart Wii?
So what do you think we’ll see at E3? What do you want to see? Disaster: Day of Crisis? Could we see that “returning franchise” be unveiled as teased by IGN? Could it be Kid Icarus? Will we see more of the latest Mario baseball game? Will Camelot confirm a third Golden Sun? Hey, historically speaking, aren’t we due for a new Zelda trailer?
We’ve got a thread going about this on the forums. Let’s hear your predictions!
